The Mission Society announces the retirement of Dr. Darrell Whiteman, who has served as vice president for mission mobilization and training, and resident mis­siologist since 2005. Whiteman oversaw mission mobilization and training and led international conferences across the globe. 

Prior to joining the staff of The Mission Society, Whiteman served as dean of the E. Stanley Jones School of World Mission and Evangelism and professor of cultural anthropology at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.

The Mission Society wishes Darrell and Laurie and their family every blessing and they move into the next chapter of their lives.
